MINUTE MAID TRIPLES AD SPEND

Minute Maid Co. of Houston, Texas says it plans to triple its ad budget next year for a new orange juice that the company says tastes just like a real orange. In 1995, Minute Maid spent $14.2 million(US) on advertising. Advertising for Minute Maid in the U.S. is done by Leo Burnett USA of Chicago. Minute Maid is a unit of Coca-Cola Co. of Atlanta. Minute Maid in Canada will announce its plans for its juices in a few weeks, Canadian spokesperson Tina Warren told Adnews last week.
