CIBC signs five-year sponsorship with CHL

CIBC of Toronto has signed a five-year sponsorship agreement with the Canadian Hockey League. Through this agreement, CIBC will become the official bank of the CHL and its three regional leagues, the Western Hockey League, the Ontario Hockey League and the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League. The deal encompasses sponsorship of 23 CHL teams, as well as the title sponsorship of the Canada Russia Series and associate sponsorships of the Mastercard Memorial Cup and the CHL Top Prospects Game. CIBC will also provide financial management, advice and banking resources to the league and participate in its scholarship program.
