Cinepop conducts new branding campaign

Montreal-based specialty television channel Cinépop has undertaken a rebranding initiative and supporting advertising campaign. The new on-air visual style is accompanied by the tagline, "À chacun ses classiques," or "To each their own classics." The branding is intended to emphasize the channel's programming of classic movies. The advertising campaign consists of television, radio, online and out-of-home executions, intended to raise awareness of the channel with a wider audience. Cinépop is owned by Bell Media.

"Through this initiative, we're looking to give Cinépop every opportunity to stand out, reveal its true value and realize its full potential," said Anne-Claire Lefaivre, director of marketing for the channel. "The tagline creates an emotional connection with viewers, while the campaign and new branding highlight our extensive programming. It will all come together to breathe new life into a channel that has already been flying high for 10 years."
