FabUplus Magazine debuts

A new publication called FabUplus Magazine has launched. Based in Vancouver, the quarterly magazine describes itself as the "voice of the plus size community." Its content will include health, fitness and lifestyle articles intended to encourage women to be confident with the way they look. The magazine will be sold via subscription and newsstands in Canada and the United States. It will be issued in both print and digital editions. A supporting website has been constructed at <http://www.fabuplusmagazine.com>.
"Our goal is to empower, encourage and inspire women to maintain a healthy lifestyle no matter what your size," said Shannon Svingen-Jones, founder of FabUplus. "Size does not define one's health and fitness level, and FabUplus celebrates a woman's inner curves. The unique editorial content relates to the plus sized community, engaging and informing women to be fit, healthy and curvy at the same time."
