TSN conducts out-of-home campaign in Toronto

Toronto-based specialty television station TSN has begun an out-of-home advertising campaign in Toronto called "Champions Live Here." The out-of-home executions are part of a larger campaign of the same name. The one-month campaign is taking place at the Yonge-Bloor subway station, which has been outfitted with 178 pieces of creative. The creative promotes the channel's upcoming coverage of sporting events such as the 2016 IIHF World Hockey Championship and the Euro 2016 football tournament.

The executions include 70 posters measuring four feet by six feet, 51 posters along escalators and station walls, 25 backlit displays, 12 wrapped turnstiles, six wall murals, six horizontal posters in stairwells, four static LCD screens, two full-motion LCD screens and two wrapped fare booths.

"As part of TSN's larger marketing strategy, our subway domination really works as a one-two punch," said Jon Arklay, senior vice-president of the Bell Media Agency. "It features high-impact visuals on a grand scale, while targeting hundreds of thousands of TTC users at Canada's busiest subway station. Together the visuals and high-profile location effectively drive home TSN's 'Champions Live Here' narrative in a very powerful way."

The wider campaign includes television, radio, digital, outdoor and social media advertising. TSN is a division of Bell Media, which is part of BCE.
