Egg Farmers of Canada conducts Wake Up To Yellow promotion

Egg Farmers of Canada conducted a promotion called "Wake Up To Yellow" today in Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver. The promotion consisted of temporary garden-themed installations at which promotional workers distributed daffodils and egg breakfast sandwiches to morning commuters. Consumers were also encouraged to post images of their favourite egg-based breakfasts via social media.

"Eggs are one of the few foods considered to be a complete protein," said Bonnie Cohen, director of marketing and nutrition at Egg Farmers of Canada. "They contain six grams of the highest-quality protein, and fourteen essential vitamins and nutrients, and are always free of added steroids and hormones. Eggs provide the natural goodness that Canadians are looking for at breakfast. We wanted to help Canadians wake up to yellow with the natural goodness they need to start their morning off right."
