SEGA LAUNCHES CROSS-PLATFORM GAME

Japan-based Sega Enterprises introduced a cross-platform video game this week in North America that will work with the Sega Saturn, Game gear and Pico game systems, as well on personal computers. The game is called Sonic the Hedgehog. In Canada, National TV advertising will support the launch of the game. It was created by Ingalls Moranville of San Francisco. Media Experts of Montreal will do the Canadian media buy. Sonic the Hedgehog was originally launched in 1991 for the 16-bit Sega Genesis game system. The new game uses 3D graphics a new storyline and super sonic speed.
