KODAK FOCUSES ON HOLIDAY CAMPAIGN

Kodak Canada hopes to snap up some Christmas business for its ADVANTiX line of products with a big holiday ad campaign. Advertising, which will emphasize the benefits of ADVANTiX products, will begin on Nov.18 in print and TV with a national reach. Consumers in Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver should become particularly familiar with the ads. Beginning Nov. 25 and lasting for five weeks, the cities will be hit with a double-weight campaign. The ADVANTiX line, which was launched in February, includes film, cameras, one-time use cameras and Memory Keepers. The latter are designed for storing and displaying Advanced Photo System cassettes and prints. Kodak's campaign was handled by J. Walter Thompson Co. Ltd. of Toronto.
