Finney joins Bell Media

Bell Media of Toronto has appointed Mark Finney to the newly-created position of vice-president of strategic sales. He will oversee the company's English- and French-language sales marketing, brand partnerships and mix staffs. This will be the first time these groups have been under a single executive. Finney will develop a sales program for Bell Media's television, radio, out-of-home and digital properties.
Finney was most recently vice-president of the office of the publisher at Star Media Group. Prior to that, he held a series of positions at UK newspaper The Guardian, including sales director. He has also worked at Express Newspapers.
