Best Buy readies Geek Squad Academy event

Electronics retailer Best Buy will conduct an event called the "Geek Squad Academy" on March 20. On that day, approximately 70 children between the ages of 10 and 12 from local Boys and Girls Clubs of South Coast BC will visit the company's headquarters in Burnaby. The participants will learn about various technological issues such as 3D printing, robotics, digital music and film production. The event will consist of a series of guided interactive experiences. The educational program is part of Best Buy Canada's corporate community initiatives.
