Survey: Most respected retail in Canada

Dart Insight and Communications of Toronto has released the results of a survey of Canadian consumers intended to determine the “most respected” retailer in the country. According to the study, Canadian Tire is the most respected general merchandise retailer in Canada. Other retailers in the survey’s top five include Costco, Staples, Best Buy and Couche-Tard. The results are based on a national public opinion survey of 3,714 randomly-selected Canadians conducted in June by Maru Public Opinion Research.
“Canadian Tire is a national icon that leads the way in respect,” said Jeff Munn, executive director of Dart. “Providing high-levels of retail service across a wide-range of locations and platforms especially during a pandemic is a huge accomplishment.”
