Videotron buys 4Degrees Colocation

Montreal-based Videotron has acquired data centre operator 4Degrees Colocation of Quebec City for $31.5 million. According to the company, the purchase will allow Videotron Business Solutions to offer an expanded range of bundled services to Quebec businesses. The data centre is able to securely host the equivalent of 85,000 servers.

Videotron is a subsidiary of Quebecor Media.
