Mark's conducts weather-based promotion

Clothing retailer Mark's has begun a two-week campaign that makes use of creative that changes according to current weather conditions. The pilot marketing program is being tested at 48 Mark's stores in the Greater Toronto Area. During the initiative, consumers will receive a discount on their purchases based on the day's forecasted low temperature. If the temperature is -18 degrees Celsius, consumers will receive an 18% discount. The campaign also includes online support, in-store materials, digital out-of-home ads and media relations activities. According to the company, Mark's will consider expanding the promotion to other markets based on the results of the pilot program.
