HomeStars hires Energi PR

Toronto-based HomeStars has retained Energi PR of Toronto as its public relations agency of record. HomeStars is an online service that assists consumers looking for reputable home renovators, repair personnel and retailers. The assignment includes communications planning, media relations, stakeholder relations, issues and crisis management and content development. This is the first time HomeStars has employed a public relations agency.
"Over the last year we have seen a vast increase in online traffic, up 40% from last year," said Nancy Peterson, CEO of HomeStars. "We knew it was time to work with an agency and we reviewed several and ultimately felt Energi PR best understood our vision and how to best amplify it in the market. They have a great reputation in the industry and we look forward to working with closely the Energi PR team."
