Survey: Marketing industry hiring practices

Toronto-based human resources company The Creative Group has released the results of a survey into hiring practices by advertising and marketing executives. The national survey polled 400 executives and found that they receive an average of 23 resumes for each open creative position. They furthermore meet with six applicants, on average, before selecting a new hire. According to the company, the advertising and marketing sector has demonstrated an "uptick" in hiring over the last six months.
