New chief communications officer at L'Oreal Canada

Montreal-based cosmetics company L'Oréal Canada has promoted Nadia Petrolito to the position of chief communications officer. She will also continue to hold the positions of general counsel and ethics officer at the company. Petrolito will participate in the development of the company's new corporate social responsibilities program. She will also work to implement parent company L'Oréal Group's new global sustainability program in Canada. Petrolito joined L'Oréal in 2006 as a legal counsel. Prior to that, she was a legal counsel at Avon Canada and a lawyer at the firm of DeGrandpre Chait.
