Canadian Diabetes Association conducts contest promotion

The Toronto-based Canadian Diabetes Association has begun a contest promotion called "Your imagination is your destination" as part of its Clothesline program. Consumers who donate used clothing to the association between Aug. 14 and Nov. 30 will be entered into a draw for a $5,000 travel voucher. Ten $500 regional vouchers will also be awarded. The contest is supported by a website at <http://www.diabetes.ca/imagine>.
"Your donation of reusable clothing will give you a chance to win some great prizes, divert items from landfills while helping to make a positive impact in the lives of the more than nine million Canadians living with diabetes or prediabetes," said Janelle Robertson, general manager of the National Diabetes Trust. "Proceeds will support vital diabetes research, education, advocacy efforts, and important programs and services of the Canadian Diabetes Association such as D-Camps for children and youth living with type one diabetes."
