Influicity launches YouTube service

Toronto-based influencer marketing agency Influicity has launched a new service aimed at advertisers making use of YouTube. The service allows users to search a group of 140,000 YouTube content creators with whom they can then collaborate on national video advertising campaigns. Users can search by age, gender and subject matter, subscriber base, video views and geographic location, among other criteria. The service also includes campaign management and analysis functions. It also suggests pricing for each content creator based on their previous performance. Retail chain Target is currently using the service to conduct a national. According to the agency, six other campaigns are also in development.

"We want to see this platform on the desk of every marketing manager and media planner out there," said Influicity CEO Jonathan Davids. "Programmatic buying has completely penetrated the digital world, from search to display to social. Marketing through individuals is full of natural friction and this platform not only alleviates that friction, but produces genuinely better results. Marketers should be able to find the best influencers, connect and build campaigns, then launch with a level of sophistication that they simply couldn't achieve without us. This means ironing out the wrinkles, from influencer response rates, to approvals, to creative development obstacles."
