Yahoo Canada undertakes redesign

Yahoo Canada of Toronto has redesigned its homepage at Yahoo.ca. The new design also extends to Yahoo Quebec. It is intended to be cleaner, easier to navigate and consistent on desktop browsers and mobile devices. The news feed will now display more content, which users can filter by category. New customizable applications will present information from Yahoo Weather, Finance, Flickr and other sources. According to the company, additional changes will be made over a period of several months.
"The new Yahoo experience, with its modern yet familiar design, makes it easier to discover the news and information that Canadians care about most," said Claude Galipeau, country manager at Yahoo Canada. "Creating a welcoming, intuitive place for everyday use is another step towards our commitment to inspire and entertain our users."
