Reader's Digest redesigns

Reader's Digest Magazines Canada has introduced a new design for Readers Digest magazine. The design, which debuted with the February issue, is intended to enhance the reader experience. It includes a new visual style, a new logo, the return of the table of contents to the cover and new paper stock. The magazine has also adjusted its content to include a mix of shorter humourous columns and longer serious stories. The company has also redesigned its website at RD.ca. The site now includes a mobile-optimized version.

"We are pleased to unveil the new Reader's Digest and introduce our millions of Canadian readers to an enhanced user experience," said Robert Goyette, editor-in-chief of the magazine. "The new format is tailored to those who told us they love our content and want more of it. It's a reflection of our commitment to make it as easy as possible for our dedicated readers to 'read up' each month."

To promote both the redesign of the print and digital versions, Reader's Digest is offering Canadian consumers a free digital download of the February issue. French-language magazine Sélection will debut a similar redesign with its March issue.
