BSH Canada Home Appliances hires Bob's Your Uncle

BSH Canada Home Appliances has retained Bob's Your Uncle of Toronto as its advertising agency of record. The company is the Canadian distributor of the Bosch, Thermador and Gaggenau brands of home appliances. The assignment includes strategy, creative development and social media management for the three brands. Bob's Your Uncle's first work will be the launch of a new line of Bosch dishwashers, ovens and refrigerators in the spring of 2014. The agency won the account in a request for proposals process.
"Bob's Your Uncle impressed us early in the pitch process with a creative approach to building brand equity in our increasingly commoditized category," said Steve Preiner, director of marketing at BSH Canada. "We have premium brands that face competitors who are aggressively promoting on price, and it's a challenge Bob's Your Uncle is helping us solve."
