Sobeys releases new commercial with Jamie Oliver

Grocery store chain Sobeys, based in Stellarton, NS, has released a television commercial promoting its new line of products developed in association with celebrity chef Jamie Oliver. The product line, called "Compliments Presents: Jamie Oliver Discovers Canada," consists of 14 bakery, meat, seafood and deli items intended to reflect the chain's efforts to offer more high-quality food. The 30-second commercial features Oliver bringing some of the products to families for the holidays.
"We worked closely with Jamie to create this delicious new product line, which will make holiday entertaining easier and tastier while maintaining our commitment to better food," said Gillian Kerr, vice-president of brand marketing at Sobeys. "We know how busy Canadians are, especially during the holiday season, but that shouldn't mean having to sacrifice eating better. The new line offers customers fresh, ready-to-cook solutions that Canadians will be proud to serve."
