Ringette Canada readies promotional tour

Volkswagen Canada of Ajax, ON has signed-on as a sponsor of Ottawa-based Ringette Canada. The automaker will provide Ringette Canada with a Volkswagen Touareg SUV to use during a 30-day, 15-city promotional tour that will begin Oct. 16. The promotion, called the "Ringette Roadshow Powered by Volkswagen," will travel from Charlottetown to Vancouver promoting the sport of ringette via a series of events.
"We are extremely pleased to be partnering with Volkswagen on our 50th anniversary roadshow," said Frances Losier, sport development director at Ringette Canada. "The Touareg that Volkswagen has provided is completely decked out with ringette decals and when we roll into town, everyone will know that the ringette roadshow has arrived."
