HootSuite hires Mandel

Vancouver-based social media company HootSuite has appointed Ken Mandel to the position of managing director of the Asia Pacific region. He will be responsible for the company's growth with enterprise customers in the region. Mandel was previously managing director for the Asia Pacific region at Salesforce Marketing Cloud. Prior to that, he was at Buddy Media. He has also been regional APAC vice-president at Yahoo and CEO of APAC for Neo@Ogilvy.
