REPORT ON AD REVENUES AVAILABLE

The 1996 Report on Advertising Revenues in Canada is now available. The report shows that advertising revenues edged over the $11 billion mark in 1995, an increase of 3.7% over 1994. Tables in the report include the percentage share of net advertising revenue received in 1995 by type of media, actual dollar amount of net advertising revenues, ad agency revenues on billings and gross advertising revenues for all media combined from 1979 to 1995 and the actual dollar amount of net advertising revenues received by each medium from 1979 to 1995. The report also lists the top 20 agencies in Canada by gross revenues, 20 leading advertisers by expenditures and the top 10 media buying organizations in 1995 by billings. The report is published by Canadian Advertising Rates & Data.
