Toshiba begins international TabletMan campaign

Electronics company Toshiba has begun a new international promotion featuring a spokescharacter called TabletMan. The effort is intended to raise consumer awareness of the company's line of tablet computers. The character takes the form of a figure with a number of tablets attached to a futuristic costume. The TabletMan character will appear at events such as the Sitex expo in Singapore last week. According to the company, the character will travel to more countries in the future as part of an awareness campaign using the tagline, "What will our future be?" The initiative also includes social media activities.
