Huffington Post Canada promotes new app
Online publication The Huffington Post Canada is conducting an out-of-home campaign until the end of the month in support of its recently-released mobile application for Windows 8. The campaign, developed by Starcom MediaVest Group makes use of interactive digital boards in Union Station and the Eaton Centre in Toronto, in the City Centre subway station in Vancouver, and at the South Centre Mall in Calgary. Passersby by use the six-by-nine-foot displays to interact with the application. The screens are from Monster Media of Toronto. "We were thrilled to have the opportunity to collaborate with Starcom MediaVest Group to bring a Huffington Post Canada Windows 8 app to life, and even more excited to be able to drive trial of the experience through an innovative digital activation in key high traffic locations across Canada," said Laura Pearce, director of marketing at AOL Canada.
