Pepsi releases new commercial in Canada

PepsiCo Canada has released a new television commercial as part of the brand's international "Live For Now" campaign. The 30-second ad, developed by TBWA/Chiat Day, features professional football player Drew Brees and musical group One Direction. The creative depicts Brees and the band backstage at a fictitious talk show, competing for a can of Pepsi. The commercial is being supported with digital materials. The campaign is being conducted in association with the National Football League and reality television show The X Factor, which airs in Canada on CTV. "Music and sports are at the core of the Pepsi DNA," said Angelique Krembs, marketing vice-president for Pepsi. "This campaign brings together iconic figures from both of those worlds in a fun and memorable way that only Pepsi could deliver."
