24 Hours unveils new design
By Adnews Staff
Sun Media, a subsidiary of Quebecor Media, has redesigned its commuter newspaper 24 Hours. The changes include a new layout incorporating more colour and more graphics, as well as a new logo and new sections. The new sections cover education, careers, finance, homes, automotive and lifestyle. "We have created an even more inventive, sharp, entertaining, colourful and lively environment," said Lucie Leduc, vice-president of 24 Hours. "The changes are in keeping with Quebecor Media's commitment to delivering the best possible reading experience and providing new advertising opportunities by making the 24 Hours free dailies ever more attractive." 24 Hours produces editions for Vancouver, Edmonton, Calgary, Toronto, Ottawa and Montreal. In each of these markets, the new design is being promoted with a contest that will give away five vacations. Consumers can enter the contest online at <http://www.24hrscontest.ca> until Oct. 14.
