New COO, CFO at Quebecor

Quebecor of Montreal has appointed Marc Tremblay to the position of chief operating officer. He also remains the company's chief legal officer and corporate secretary. Prior to joining Quebecor in 2007, Tremblay was a partner at law firm Ogilvy Renault.

Hugues Simard has been appointed to the position of chief financial officer. He was most recently executive vice-president and chief financial officer of Indigo Books & Music. Prior to that he held positions at a number of Quebecor subsidiaries, including senior vice-president and chief financial officer at Videotron and senior vice-president of development and strategy at Quebecor Media, as well as vice-president of finance and chief financial officer at Sun Media.
