Hill&Knowlton Strategies launches emergency response preparedness service
By Adnews Staff
Hill&Knowlton Strategies Canada has launched a new emergency response preparedness service in Calgary. The new national unit is intended to complement the agency's existing crisis communications service. It will specialize in emergency response preparedness, crisis management and incident response. "Most companies focus their efforts on planning and implementing a frontline response to an emergency," said Jane Shapiro, head of the agency's corporate and crisis communications national service. "That's important. But, in reality, to protect reputation and social license to operate, organizations need to take a holistic approach to incident management that ensures words and deeds are aligned from the start." The unit will be headed by Vlad Grigore, formerly head of emergency response, development and production for North America at Statoil.
