Hill&Knowlton Strategies has appointed Anne Kothawala to the position of vice-president and group leader of its Toronto public affairs staff. She was previously president and CEO of the Canadian Newspaper Association. She was also senior vice-president of public affairs at the Retail Council of Canada. She has also worked in public affairs at the Canadian Restaurant and Food Services Association.
