By Adnews Staff
Corus Entertainment of Toronto has joined the Canadian Premium Audience Exchange, an online real-time bidding exchange service set up in May by Shaw Media, Rogers Media and CBC. The service allows advertisers and agencies to access the digital advertising inventory of the participating media companies. Users will now be able to bid on advertising space on Corus online properties including W Network, W Movies, Cosmopolitan TV, Oprah Winfrey Network, ABC Spark, CMT, YTV, Treehouse and Nickelodeon. "With Corus joining CPAX, advertisers will have access to Corus' high quality, targeted online audiences through an efficient transactional system that maximizes the use of available inventory," said Gerry Mackrell, vice-president of television sales at Corus Entertainment. "This will allow Corus' sales team to focus on providing value-added, fully integrated on air and online solutions to our clients."
