Toronto-based restaurant chain Swiss Chalet will begin a four-week product sampling campaign today. During the promotion, branded food trucks will visit participating locations nationally to distribute samples of the chain's fries and dipping sauce, along with coupons for various discounts at Swiss Chalet. The program is being supported with social media activities. The initiative is part of a larger effort involving comedian and wellness coach Jessica Holmes intended to promote the idea of the family dinner. "Studies show that when families eat together more often, kids' life skills also benefit, including having a better chance of doing well in school, communicating with their parents, and adopting healthy dietary habits," said Holmes. "For us, Swiss Chalet is a guilt-free, relaxing family night out. We've even gone there with family friends, requested a table for 16, and had a stress-free dinner party."
