Rémi Marcoux has departed the position of chairman of the board of directors of Montreal-based Transcontinental. Marcoux, a co-founder of the company in 1976, will remain on the board as a director. His daughter Isabelle Marcoux has been appointed chair of the board. She has been vice-chair of the board since 2008. She has also spent 15 years as corporate vice-president of development.
