New board chair at Transcontinental

Transcontinental founder Rémi Marcoux will depart the position of executive chair of the board on Feb. 16, 2012. He will remain a member of the board as well as the corporation's controlling shareholder. Isabelle Marcoux will take over as chair of the board at that time. Isabelle Marcoux, who joined the company in 1997, is currently vice-chair of the board and vice-president of corporate development. Prior to joining Transcontinental, she was a lawyer at McCarthy Tétrault.
