Claude Gagnon, senior vice-president and chief financial officer at Montreal-based Astral, will retire from the company today. He has spent approximately 20 years at Astral. Robert Fortier, previously vice-president of finance at Astral, has been promoted to the position of CFO. Before joining the company in 2005, Fortier was vice-president of finance at Microcell Telecommunications.
