Tourism Canmore Kananaskis breaks new campaign

Tourism Canmore Kananaskis has begun a new marketing campaign called "Do It In Canmore." The initiative, developed by Twist Marketing of Calgary, includes radio ads on Virgin Radio Calgary and a website at <>. Radio listeners can also enter a contest to win hotel stays, restaurant gift certificates and ski lift tickets, as well as weekly prize packages including a dogsledding ride, helicopter tour, ski vacation and other trips. "We have a track record of producing edgy campaigns for our tourism clients that take risks, and 'Dare To Do It In Canmore' continues that tradition," said Catherine Proulx, managing director of Twist Marketing. "The Canmore Kananaskis region has a lot more to offer than simply gorgeous mountains. The real beauty is that Calgarians can experience the Canmore difference in less than an hour's drive. Canmore genuinely loves winter and embraces it with a laid-back vibe that is different than anywhere else in Alberta."
