CBC/Radio-Canada promotes Lalande

CBC/Radio-Canada has appointed Louis Lalande to the position of executive vice-president of French services. He had held this position on an interim basis since September 2011. Lalande, who has been at the CBC for approximately 30 years, was most recently executive director of regional services. He has also been executive director of news and current affairs for Télévision de Radio-Canada, executive director of technical production and an executive producer of special coverage and major events.
