Best Buy conducts Pass the Present promotion

Electronics retail chain Best Buy, based in Burnaby, BC, has begun a holiday season promotion called "Pass the Present." The promotion takes the form of an online contest conducted via the brand's Facebook page. Consumers can play an online game to win one or all of 13 products listed as the company's "Favourite Things." Players can unwrap one layer of a gift wrapped in multiple layers of wrapping, then pass the present on to another player. The the game is part of a wider campaign aimed primarily at mothers who are shopping for technology gifts.
