Scotiabank of Toronto has redesigned its Scotiabank.com and Scotia OnLine websites. The modifications are intended to make the online banking and online investing websites easier to use and more informative. "People are looking for online information and services that are easy to access and use and we know that for a lot of people our website is often the first or main point of contact," said Duncan Hannay, senior vice-president of Canadian marketing at Scotiabank. "Through enhanced navigation tools that make it easier to find information and services and new multimedia and video content, our customers will have a more compelling online experience."

Thomas Cook Travel has launched a Canadian website at Thomascook.ca. According to the company, the website and the rebranding of 150 Thomas Cook retail locations in Canada, marks a return of the brand to the Canadian travel market. The new site includes a collection of online travel tools and purchase options. "Whether booking an all-inclusive holiday package, a custom exotic getaway, cruise or flight, Thomas Cook provides the best service, price and guidance to ensure our customers have an unforgettable vacation experience from beginning to end," said Stuart Morris, the company's senior vice-president of e-commerce. "The website is a way for Thomas Cook to provide Canadians with relevant information and services, to help make their travel planning as smooth as possible."
