Human resources company Randstad Canada has signed a sponsorship agreement with Toronto-based Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment. During the agreement, Randstad logos and advertisements will appear on rink boards, LED signage and the penalty box during Maple Leaf home games. Randstad will also appear on the arena's videoboard during intermission in the form of video interviews with Maple Leaf players. "We've invested a lot of time and effort looking for and researching the right sponsorship opportunity and we know that hockey has been an integral element of Canadian culture," said Stacy Parker, executive marketing vice-president at Randstad. "It has been a unifying force that has brought Canadian families together for over 100 years and it appeals to many of the customers and partners we work with, so this sponsorship will give us exciting opportunities to connect with them."
