TOSHIBA INTRODUCES NEW NOTEBOOK

Markham, Ont.-based Toshiba of Canada launched a new notebook this week using Intel's new 150MHz Pentium processor. Called the Tecra 730CDT, the high-end machine is an upgrade to the 720CDT. It comes with a 6X CD-ROM drive and 16 megabytes of RAM, expandable to 144MB. Newspaper and magazine advertising is supporting the launch of the product. It was created by Promanad Communications of Toronto.
