Metro introduces online research panel

Newspaper publisher Metro English Canada has introduced a new online research service called the Metropolitan Panel in this country. The panel consists of approximately 20,000 readers of various Metro International newspapers. According to the company, the panel is made of "youthful, active, connected, time-poor, affluent consumers" living in large cities in 14 countries. Online surveys can be conducted locally, regionally or internationally on subjects including daily news, trends and lifestyle issues. The results will be used by the company to shape the editorial and advertising content of its publications.
