Mobio Identity Systems conducts contest

Vancouver-based Mobio Identity Systems, a company specializing in mobile payment and marketing, has begun a contest to promote the launch of a BlackBerry version of its mobile application. The application is already available for Apple and Android devices. The national contest is being conducted in association with Shaw Media. For two weeks beginning June 20, barcodes will be displayed on Shaw's Action, Diva and Showcase channels. Viewers with smartphones can scan the barcode off the television screen to enter a draw for a tablet PC. "We are excited to celebrate the launch of Mobio for BlackBerry with a national Mobio-enabled TV contest," said Clovis Najm, CEO of Mobio Identity Systems. "Now virtually all 6.6 million smartphone users in Canada will be able to benefit from Mobio's payment and identity capabilities as well as participate in interactive multi-media contests and promotions."
