Plan Canada continues Because I am a Girl campaign

Plan Canada has begun a new spring phase of its ongoing "Because I am a Girl" campaign, intended to raise awareness of its efforts to fight gender discrimination against girls internationally. The campaign, developed by Wunderkind, is aimed at teens between the ages of 12 and 18, as well as women between the ages of 25 to 49. The national television campaign includes a 30-second commercial featuring spokesperson Sophie Grégoire-Trudeau. The effort also includes print advertising in Hello, EnRoute, Canadian House & Home and Toronto Life, as well as out-of-home ads in Toronto, Ottawa and Halifax. Media planning and buying was handled by Twenty6two.
