Corus hires Hale

Corus Entertainment of Toronto has appointed Maria Hale to the position of vice-president of television and head of programming and production. She will begin work on April 4. Hale will oversee television programming activities including content production, acquisitions and distribution for the company's specialty and pay channels. She was previously vice-president of content at Telus. Prior to that, she was vice-president of content business development at CHUM. She was most recently at GameTV.
