Credit card company Visa has signed a sponsorship with the Shaw Festival of Niagara-on-the-Lake, ON, making Visa Infinite the official payment card of the theatre company's 2011-2013 seasons. Through this agreement Visa Infinite customers will be able to buy seats for upcoming season during a special pre-sale period before they become available to the general public. Customers who buy tickets or a Shaw Festival membership will also receive a discount on a commemorative book marking the festival's 50th anniversary this year. "The Visa Infinite card is not just about rewards, it's about benefits, savings and one-of-a-kind experiences," said Brenda Woods, head of marketing at Visa Canada. "The sponsorship of the Shaw Festival exemplifies Visa's commitment to the arts and is just another way we're shining a spotlight on our cardholders by offering them access to unique Canadian cultural events."
