Shaw Festival retains Lifecapture Interactive

The Shaw Festival of Niagara-on-the-Lake, ON has retained Lifecapture Interactive of Toronto as the interactive agency for its 2007 season. The company will be develop an interactive marketing program involving community discussion forums, video production, search engine marketing, email marketing and custom travel packages. Lifecapture won the account on the basis of similar work it did for the theatre festival last year. “With a modest media budget, interactive has become an important method of driving ticket sales through the season,” said Jill Planche, director of resource development at the festival. “Lifecapture helped us finish the last few weeks with a flourish. We learned a lot this season and are excited about taking these ideas forward into next year.”
