Syncapse buys Nudge Social Media

Toronto-based social media company Syncapse has acquired Nudge Social Media of London, UK, a development firm specializing in social campaigns, Facebook pages, applications and online games. Syncapse will use the acquisition to expand its operations in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. The staff of Nudge will work out of the Syncapse office in London. Nudge's client list includes Reckitt Benckiser, Unilever, JustGiving, PhotoBox, The Carphone Warehouse and Domino's Pizza. "Acquiring Nudge Social Media will enable us to expand our operations in EMEA by offering increasingly relevant solutions for local and pan-Euro marketers while leveraging their expertise to expand our global capabilities," said Michael Scissons, president and CEO of Syncapse. "Nudge Social Media shares Syncapse's dedication to developing market leading social software solutions and this acquisition is a solid building block toward our long-term growth strategy."
